Front Panel Control

If you’re already an SQ Series user, you’ll feel close to home with the front panel.

SQ-Rack’s faders screen provides instant access to level controls, plus 8 SoftKeys and 4 Soft Rotaries – all assignable with LCD displays – so you get to choose which functions you have at your fingertips.

Of course, the SQ MixPad app for Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS provides access to the SQ-Rack’s mixing functions from inside venue, with an offline mode allowing preparation of scenes or shows away from the venue.

SQ-Control can be configured by an admin user to deliver just the right amount of control for each application or dry hire, whether that’s single fader control of background music from behind the bar or controlling live stream levels in a House of Worship.

Connectivity

Back panel of SQ-Rack is where all I/O lives, along with options for more.

Right out of the box, SQ-Rack has got enough I/O to get things started, with 16 XLR mic/line inputs (plus talkback mic input via XLR), and a couple of Stereo In channels via pairs of ¼” jacks. Output is handled by 12 XLR outputs, plus 2x TRS line outputs and an AES output.

But for ultimate channel count (48 Channel / 36 Bus), you can connect via the onboard SLink to any of the compatible I/O expanders – most typically the DX168, but for in-ear rigs especially, DX012 will be a go-to favourite.
