Description
Yamaha DXR10ii powered speaker is a compact 10″ + 1.75″ box, with a very intuitive and well-featured back panel.
n
nDeveloped in collaboration with NEXO, the ‘MkII’ series of DXR feature newly designed transducers, including the high powered woofer and larger (1.75″) neodymium HF for clear sound, higher SPL and lighter weight – when compared with the original DXR series.
n
nLike the smaller DXR8ii, this DXR10ii makes a great choice for use as either a Front-of-House speaker on top of a subwoofer, stand-alone for neat audiovisual applications, or laying on the stage as a floor monitor (foldback) for performers.
n
nThere is plenty of horsepower for any of these applications, with 600w (continuous) on-board amplification for the 10″ woofer (2″ voice coil), and 100w for the 1.75″ compression driver (1″ throat), neodymium. Rated at 700w continuous (1100w ‘dynamic’), DXR10ii has a very healthy Max SPL of 132 dB.
n
nBeing Yamaha, you know the sound will be great. Let’s dive into the back panel – that’s where the action is!
n
nInput 1 – XLR input (mic/line switchable), with level control
nInput 2 – L&R 1/4″ unbalanced Jacks, with level control
nInput 3 – L&R RCA sockets, with level control
n
nLINK OUT – the XLR output has a very nice feature…simply link two DXR10ii speakers for ‘dual mono’, or flick the ‘stereo’ switch, and your DXR10ii rig will keep the stereo image created with your stereo feeds from input 2 or 3.
