Genelec 8040-423 is a carry case, designed to hold a pair of 8040B or 8340A powered studio monitors.
Of course, 8040-423 also works for earlier iterations of the 8040 monitors – including 8040A.
8040 two-way active monitors and 8340 two-way smart active monitors are small enough to travel with you – no matter where you need to set up your writing, tracking or production station.
The padded, soft carry bag has a separate compartment for each of your pair of 8040/8340 monitors, with some ‘hook and loop’ fastener to secure the top of the bag.
If you want, remove the divider to instead use the 8040-423 to transport the compact 7040A (6.5″ active subwoofer).
There’s a carry handle, and also a shoulder strap – plus a compartment to hold your power leads and signal leads.
For car transporation or even as simple storage, 8040-423 is a great solution.
