Reference AES5 is a handmade 110 ohm AES/EBU Cable, carefully assembled by our resident Factory Sound cable expert.
Due to the exacting demands of digital audio – particularly AES/EBU, our AES series cables are made using Canare DA202 110 ohm cable, and Neutrik EMC Series XLR Connectors.
An EMI suppression ferrite bead with 24 Ohm at 1 MHz between pin 1 and the cable screen provides a low-pass filter for improved RF rejection.
