    Here’s a great little mic for violin.

    This newest incarnation of AudioTechnica ATM350 is a cardioid condenser, with a minature (and lightweight) end-address capsule that’s great for a variety of instruments.

    Actually, the mic itself looks a lot like a lapel microphone – and to make it all work, includes, aside from the actual ATM350a mic, an AT8543 (adapter to ‘step down’ the +48v phantom) and a little ‘hook and loop’ style mounting option (AT8468).

    Need a gooseneck?
    If you’re looking more for a sax and trumpet microphone, you can get the exact same mic and adapter as listed above with the addition of a 12cm gooseneck (AT8490) and the rubber-coated locking clip-on ‘universal’ adapter (AT8941U). Check it out here: ATM350U KIT
