Packed into a half rack width chassis, BlueTube DPv2 is a 2-channel mic pre with a very handy Dual Path feature.
Each of the two mic preamps gives you easy front-panel access to: 48v phantom, phase revers, -20dB pad and 80Hz roll-off.
Of course, you also get a gain knob, and the magic drive knob – which is where the Dual Path comes in to play. Use the drive knob to hit the 12AX7 as hard as you can, or wind it right down until you’re merely ‘waving the teabag over the mug of hot water’ OR turn it all the way left until it clicks, then you’re running the mic pre as a solid state, transparent device.
Each channel also features a backlit VU meter, to help monitor your input levels.
Designed to really help add some variety to your DAW tracking, BlueTube DPv2 can also be used in a compact PA system, in lieu of a DI box for guitars or bass.
