DAD4099-BC is an adapter for powering a variety of DPA Miniature Microphones via standard P48 phantom power.
A handy belt clip is included, to take strain away from the important connections.
The Micro-Dot to 3-pin XLR Adapter features a low-cut roll-off filter and provides a balanced output signal for the d:vote™ 4099 Instrument Microphone series.
A note on frequency:
This DAD4099-BC features a permanent second-order low-cut filter at 80 Hz. The filter minimises handling and wind noise at the microphone output without compromising sound quality. It has been included as the standard connector in kits, such as CORE 4099S (sax), CORE 4099T (trumpet) and CORE 4099V (violin), as these instruments have no appreciable frequency response below 80 Hz.
For the ‘full range’ version, choose DAD6001-BC. The outside looks the same, just the inside differs.
