A staple of stage and theatrical lighting, the Fresnel is loved for its ability to wash softly, or sharpen up a bit.
EVE F-50Z is an updated version of the Fresnel, incorporating LED technology. Of course, EVE F-50Z will replace your old (tungsten-based) Fresnel features, but you’ll need to run both a DMX cable and standard power, rather than power from the dimmer rack.
Where EVE F-50Z really shines (sorry), is when you’re planning to light a new theatrical space. Being able to do away with the significant costs of installing adequate power distribution for traditional lighting fixtures means that you can get truly creative with elaborate design on a modest budget. Oh, and the added bonus of not needing to keep stock of spare lamps is significant for both planning, and stage show continuity.
