Perfect for acoustic solo and duo work for rowdy venues, along with DJ and small band work, EVOX12 is the biggest member of RCF’s super-portable EVOX Series.
The onboard amplifer section is located in the subwoofer. You get 500w (1000w peak) driving the 15″ woofer. Connect the ‘satellite’ using the included distance rod and supplied speakon cable, and the 8 x 4″ drivers get powered by the 200w (400w peak) amplifier.
The real beauty of an EVOX12 setup comes from portability and performance.
For packdown and transport, the satellite can simply rest on top of the subwoofer. Extend the sbuwoofer carry handle, tilt onto built-in wheels, and you’ve got yourself an easy load!
Input is via XLR – selectable as mic or line level. There is also an XLR output to provide a loop through to additional EVOX setups.
Controls are simple – volume knob, and EQ switch – flat or “Boost”, which is a ‘loudness’, recommended for background music applications when the system plays at a low level or when two systems are coupled.
EVOX is designed for a fairly wide spread, with 90° horizonal coverage. Maximum SPL is rated at 130 dB.
Cabinet is made from Baltic birch plywood. Dimensions (when the satellite is stored on top of the sub) are 2220mm height, 410mm width, 560mm depth.
