Behringer MICROAMP HA400 is a 4-output headphone amp for use in small studios, listening labs and classrooms.
The beauty of HA400 is not so much what you get, but what you don’t get. The no-frills approach to amplify up to 4-pairs of headphones allows HA400 to be compact, cheap and reliable.
There is no EQ. No auxiliary input. No rackmount option. There are no level meters, and definitely no ‘Mix B’. Also, there is no ‘loop through’ output option. There’s not even a power switch.
So what you actually get?
The external 12v power supply is included in the box.
The compact (104 x 57 x 47mm) HA400 has a stereo input via ¼” TRS. Next to this are the 4 x ¼” TRS headphone outputs.
The ‘control panel’ is as simple as 4 x individual output volume control pots. You’ll also notice a little LED to indicate power (yes or no).
That’s it.
Simple, compact and effective.
