Our studio showroom is filled with options for simple, two-input interface options for your DAW. So what makes Aphex IN2 stand out from the crowd?
There are a few very handy features included on the interface panel.
First of all, connector your microphones (2 x XLR inputs) via the rear panel – if you need to plug jack plug into the front, it will automatically override the XLR inputs (no need to remove them).
Now is when it gets interesting...controls for each of your inputs are:
Input gain (knob)
+48v phantom for condenser mics
75Hz High Pass Filter
Comp – you can turn on or off the optical compressor circuit for each of the channel inputs
IN2 works for either PC or Mac (and can work with iPad, if you're using the camera connection kit, with a lightning to USB adapter)
There is also MIDI I/O, S/PDIF I/O, headphone level control, mono sum switch and 1/4" jack outputs for your studio monitors.
