Neumann KH750DSP is an active 10″ compact studio subwoofer with DSP control for optional room correction.
KH750DSP can be used as part of either a stereo or multi-channel system, and is well-suited to a variety of applications including home studio, professional studio, along with post production facilities. With a depth of just 383mm (LxWxD = 383 x 330 x 383mm), KH750DSP can be used comfortably and effectively in even a small control room. The sturdy steel grille ensures that a wandering foot won’t cause any drama to the driver.
The 10” long-throw driver has a strong linear working magnet system with ELFF™ technology (Extremely Linear Force Factor™). The ultra-compact cabinet is a closed design which brings the fastest possible transient response. Two analogue XLR inputs are balanced, as are the two analogue XLR outputs. The 192 kHz / 24-bit digital input can accept AES3 and S/P-DIF signals. There is a bypassable standby function and the switch-off time can be adjusted in the Neumann.Control iPad® app.
What is the DSP all about?
Aside from the already great sounding and performing acoustic properties, the DSP offers functions for Neumann monitors connected to its outputs, regarding the interplay with the following tools:
a) Automatic Monitor Alignment – Automatic room correction of stereo systems using the Neumann MA 1 measurement microphone (software for Mac/PC)
b) Neumann.Control – Free iPad®-App for setup, operation, and room correction of stereo systems via guided and/or manual alignment
Positioning
KH750DSP sits happily away from a wall, next to a wall or in a corner – just use the controls on the rear of the sub, or your Neumann.Control app to make the necessary adjustments.
