Lavalier Windjammer – Black (Single)
Suited to a variety of minature lavalier microphones, Lavalier Windjammer is used in the outdoor environment, to negate the effect of wind.
It is the most heavy-duty of Rycote’s subminiature Lavalier microphone products, suitable for use in outdoor interview conditions. Lavalier Windjammer greatly reduces microphone noise and clothes rustle, while also providing effective wind protection.
Use the ‘plain’ foam insert for use with most lavalier microphones, or for very small lapels mics, the foam with a rubber ring offers a more precise fit. Simply pop the windjammer (furry) over the top of the foam, and you’ll end up with somewhere between 12-15dB of wind attenuation (depending on whose specifications you read).
