Pearl MSH 10 stereo condenser microphone is a high-end, lightweight solution for recording M-S stereo on location with shotgun cardioid as the mid.

The low weight (160g) makes MSH 10 easy to use on a boompole or mounted directly on the camera.

MSH 10 has separate (ie; non-matrixed) Mid and Side channels, giving the engineer total control over the sound and the possibility to decide the width of the stereo image in post-production. This also means that MSH 10 can be used as a regular mono shotgun microphone.

The included Pearl 1930 shockmount can be mounted directly on-camera with a hot shoe adapter (optional).

Note – MSH10 requires a Pearl 533 cable (not included) for operation. This takes the 5-pin XLR output, and provides the mid-and-side channels with 3-pin XLR.This will also allow MSH10 to be connected with +48 V phantom power on both channels.

Pearl MS series microphones have been setting the standards for on-location stereo recordings for more than 30 years. The current range consists of MS 8CL, with a cardioid mid channel, and the MSH 10, with a shotgun mid channel. Both models offer outstanding audio quality in a lightweight, yet rugged design.
