    This shotgun by Rode is phantom powered, and perfect for a variety of applications.

    For permanent installation, NTG-1 works great for choir applications, lecture theatres, and get help get up close and intimate at sporting events.

    Of course it has been designed to be the champion of your next film or video project, with a reasonably tight polar pattern and light weight.

    There’s no option for internal battery power, so make sure you can provide it some phantom power – else consider the NTG-2 or NTG4PLUS.
