When it’s time to mic up the drumkit, check out Shure’s PG ALTA range of drum microphones.
For as long as we can remember, Shure has been producing a range of microphones that come in at a smaller price point than their premium BETA series, and also smaller than their rock solid SM57 instrument microphone.
Around 20 years ago, it was the BG series (Beta Green), which was replaced by the original PG Series about 10 years prior to now.
We now welcome Shure’s latest offering: PG ALTA.
They’re tough enough to gig with, and even though they’re budget-friendly, also perform admirably in the studio.
This 5-piece kit comes with enough dynamic microphones to handle kick, snare and three toms.
Also included is the relevant microphone and drum clips, five x 4.6m XLR cables, and a zippered case to house the lot.
Should you also require a pair of overhead condenser microphones, check out PGADRUMKIT7
