RCF SUB705 AS II is a compact, active subwoofer, perfect for use with 12″ ‘top boxes’.
With a handle on each side, and weighing 28kg, SUB705AS is easy enough to manoeuvre in and out of gigs. It is especially good at providing some serious bottom end grunt to help your acoustic duo with stompbox, trio with backing tracks, or even a small band, when you’ve got a busy dancefloor wanting more.
The 700W amplifier (1400w peak) helps the 15″ woofer generate a very healthy 131 dB Max SPL.
Baltic birch plywood, with a polemount on top, like you’d expect.
You get a pair of XLR inputs, with a pair of XLR outputs to link to your top boxes. You can send the signal full range to your top boxes, or chooses between 80 Hz or 110 Hz ‘x-over’. There is also a phase switch on the rear.
