Rated to IP65, the SCCD-W self-closing cap for all D-size panel mount connectors is a great way to ensure moisture and dust don’t get into your signal path while a connection is not in use.
The spring-loaded cover shuts automatically after unplugging the cable connector and seals the chassis connectors against dust and water. The transparent cover allows you to see the protected chassis connector all the time.
