That's right, notice the full stop. We are fans of many microphones, but for a stand-alone valve microphone that captures a detailed sound and withstands brutal SPLs, K2 is definitely worth a closer investigation.
The power supply has got all your controls for polar pattern (contiuously variable from Omnidirectional to Cardioid to Figure 8). Microphone package includes shockmount / suspension, and make no mistake - the K2 punches way above the price bracket it sits in.
We have used this one for vocals (both intimate and group), guitars (acoustic and amplified), drums (overhead and in front of the kick drum), a variety of horns (brass / woodwind), and percussion. But don't just take our word for it - come in and have a play!
