Building on the performance of the champion MK4 cardioid studio condenser, Sennheiser has ramped it up to another level with the multi-pattern MK8.

With its dual 1" gold plated diaphragms, you get the usual 5 polar patterns – Omni, Wide Cardioid, Cardioid, Super-cardioid and Figure-of-Eight.

In addition, there is a 3 position pad (0 dB, -10 dB and -20 dB) plus a 3 position roll-off switch (flat, roll off -6dB/oct @ 100 Hz, and a low cut -18dB/oct @ 60 Hz).

Use MK8 for acoustic guitars, intimate vocals, capturing the room, or a variety of solo instruments, choirs and ensembles.

Please note - the optional MKS4 suspension is not included with MK8
